Included in the cost we will perform a “Standard Suite” of tests as defined below.
We will determine if the sample provided is within specification with the believed material for the tests performed.
Results to be presented as a .pdf report to the clients email address as noted on the sampling ticket.*

A Coolant/AdBlue™ sampling kit contains:
- 1 x OCLS Marked Bottle, Approx. 60ml
- 1 x OCLS Sample Ticket for Details of the sample
- 1 x 60cm flexible tubing for sample extraction
- 1 x Bottle Label
- 1 x Plastic Bag for Sample Bottle
- 1 x Jiffy Bag for postage
- 1 x Prepaid postage return label (for use with the Jiffy Bag ONLY)
For Coolant Samples; Upon return of the sample to the Laboratory, the included analysis per standard suite is as follows:
- Observations (Appearance, Contamination, Condition, Foaming, Rust.)
- Ferrous Wear Index
- Glycol Determination by Refractive index
- Conductivity/ Resistivity.
- Nitrite Concentration
- pH by Titration
- Total Diluted Solids
For Diesel Exhaust Fluid (AdBlue™); Upon return of the sample to the Laboratory, the included analysis per standard suite is as follows:
- Observations (Appearance, Contamination, Condition.)
- Ferrous Wear Index
- Urea Concentration by Refractive index
- Density at 15°C
- Oil contamination test
We also offer a vast array of other tests than listed above. If you require additional tests to be performed, or a more bespoke enquiry about your sample, please contact the Laboratory.
Additional testing is not included in the typically expected 2-6 day turnaround and may take longer to complete and can be subject to additional costs.
* Access to our online reporting service "OilSpy" may be provided for repeat customers, though prior discussion with the laboratory is required to set this up.
