2018 has been a big year for Oil Check. Here is a brief round up of what happened last year;
> Following its recent move into its new larger premises, OCLS continued to expand by investing heavily in new state of the art equipment. Such items include:
- A Megger OTS100AF/2 for Transformer Oil Testing. This piece of equipment allows an accurate and fast testing for the insulating oil breakdown voltage (Dielectric Strength) of transformer oils.
- The Agilent ICP-OES 5110. The latest in cutting edge optical emission spectroscopy.
- 2 new Seta Flash Series III Closed cup flash testers to go with our current flash tester.
- A Semi Automated Penatrometer, as well as equipment for corrosion strip testing to improve and expand our support for grease based lubricants.
> OCLS embraced the new ISO 9001:2015 Standard and expanded our repertoire of analysis; such as introducing ASTM 2896/ IP276 to our suite of automated titration testing capabilities.
> We continued to promote our On-site training into condition monitoring through oil sampling and analysis. Recently OCLS had been training clients in the oil fields of Algeria as well as other domestic UK based clients.
> Through our desire to support local businesses, in late 2018 we reached out to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre and offered our support to their effort. They happily said yes and we hope we can be more than useful in helping them restore their vehicles such as “Just Jane” back to their prime!
> As you may have already noticed, our website got a new lick of paint! After the many years of support and assistance from Ian at 20-20 Web Design; We asked him how he can improve and bring our website into the modern age and a fantastic job he did! We hope you like the new website as much as we do!
