UPDATED: JUNE 2022
We have begun emailing clients who still use the oillabdata software to receive the .zip file reports from OCLS.
“As Oillabdata will no longer be supported soon. We recommend you investigate our new portal Oilspy and if this interests you, to contact the lab to be upgraded to that new service. Please Note: Your existing data/reports with OCLS will not be lost if you migrate from Oillabdata to Oilspy.
Should you not wish to migrate, moving forward we will distribute your reports via .pdf file format.”
If you have not been contacted beforehand, please contact us or phone the lab up.
As of 09-Feb-2022, 10:57.
It’s been decided by OCLS to cease support for Oillabdata by (at latest) the end of 2022.
We have continued to support Oillabdata for almost over 10 years, and the rapid pace of OS & software development means it is increasingly difficult to provide continued reliable support for this software. As such, OCLS have made the decision to no longer provide new/replacement licenses for this software, as we cannot guarantee compatibility with the newer, and most up to date operating systems. We have been developing an upgrade to our online portal called “Oilspy” and upon its full release, will be focusing on this as our premium product for report distribution. By integrating the functions of our current portal and features from the Oillabdata software; we hope that the new online portal will provide users with the necessary quality of Life improvements to make the transition worth it to all parties.
We will still provide a download option for existing users on our support page and provide basic support them as best possible. We are thankful of all users and clients who have used and been happy with the software over all these years.
