Included in the cost we will perform a “Standard Suite” of tests as defined below.
Results to be presented as a .pdf report to the clients email address as noted on the sampling ticket.

An Oil Sampling kit contains:
- 1 x OCLS Marked Bottle, Approx. 60ml
- 1 x OCLS Sample Ticket for Details of the sample
- 1 x 60cm flexible tubing for sample extraction
- 1 x Bottle Label
- 1 x Plastic Bag for Sample Bottle
- 1 x Jiffy Bag for postage
- 1 x Prepaid postage return label (for use with the Jiffy Bag ONLY)
Upon return of the sample to the Laboratory, the included analysis per the "Standard Suite" is as follows:
- Observations (Appearance, Contamination, Condition)
- Ferrous Wear Index
- ICP of Common Wear Elements & Additives (ASTM D5185)
- Kinematic Viscosity @ 40C
- Water content by appropriate inhouse method
Testing also included for certain Oil/equipment types:
- Engines Only: Condition monitoring by FTIR (CAT Method)
- Hydraulics: Cleanliness/Particle Counting by ISO 4406
